Terms

Last updated 26 July 2026

marty.fit is a personal project run by one person, offered free to a small number of invited people. Using it means accepting the following.

Not medical advice

This is the important one. marty.fit tracks health and fitness information and its assistant will happily talk about your training, food, sleep and recovery. None of that is medical advice, and none of it comes from a clinician. Calorie targets, training suggestions, sleep scores and recovery readings are estimates for your own interest.

Do not use it to diagnose, treat or manage any medical condition. Talk to a qualified professional before changing how you eat, train or take medication, and never ignore medical advice because of something you read here.

The assistant can be wrong

Your assistant is built on a large language model. It misremembers, miscalculates and occasionally states things confidently that are not true — including calorie estimates and figures drawn from your own data. Check anything that matters.

No warranty, no guarantees

The service is provided as-is. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and no promise that your data will survive. It runs on a single small server; things break. Keep your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose. To the fullest extent the law allows, there is no liability for any loss arising from using it.

Your account

Access is by invitation and personal to you — don't share your login. Use it lawfully, don't attempt to reach anyone else's data, and don't attack or overload the service. Access can be withdrawn at any time, for any reason, and the whole thing may be shut down at any point.

Changes

These terms may change. Continuing to use marty.fit after a change means accepting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
